The following terms and conditions contain the whole of our agreement relating to your booking and prices. In order to protect your own interests please read our terms and conditions carefully before accepting them. Your statutory rights are not affected by our terms and conditions.
All fares are based on taxis departing from Sevenoaks or destination to Sevenoaks. Journeys from outside Sevenoaks may incur a small charge. If your pickup address is outside Sevenoaks, our controller may request advance payment over the phone before your journey.
All return journeys will incur £5 extra, plus any applicable parking, congestion, or toll charges. These will be added to your fare.
All airport transfers between 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM incur a surcharge of £5.
Christmas and New Year bookings are charged at double the standard fare: from 6:00 PM on Christmas Eve to 6:00 AM on 27 December, and from 6:00 PM on New Year’s Eve to 6:00 AM on 2 January.
Our online quotation prices are standard base fares without waiting charges. Final fare may increase between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM or if waiting time or traffic is involved.
No charge applies if a local journey is cancelled at least 1 hour before pickup. For airport or long-distance bookings, cancellations must be made at least 6 hours in advance. Otherwise, the full fare is charged.
If you book online, ensure that you receive confirmation via text, email, or callback. Without confirmation, your booking is not guaranteed.
Monthly payments for account-holding customers are subject to a 5% account handling fee.
In case of a claim due to a taxi not showing up, the firm’s liability is limited to the agreed fare amount only.
Complaints should be sent via email to info@knolecars.co.uk. We will attempt to resolve any issues. If unresolved, contact Sevenoaks District Council. All Knole Cars drivers are self-employed, and we act only as their booking agent.
In the event of any delays due to motorway accidents or unforeseen incidents, Knole Cars holds no responsibility for missed flights, trains, or appointments.
The full fare quoted at the time of booking will be charged. This does not include additional drop-off or pick-up fees, which are applied separately if applicable.
Any damage or spoilage to the vehicle caused by the passenger (e.g., spillage, vomiting, staining) will be charged directly to the customer.
